What Is an ESA? Envirotech’s HVAC Maintenance Agreement Explained

Just like a car needs regular oil changes, your HVAC system needs routine care to run efficiently and avoid breakdowns. That is what our ESA (Energy Savings Agreement) is for. An ESA is Envirotech’s maintenance agreement: one plan that keeps your furnace and air conditioner maintained, saves you money on repairs and takes scheduling off your to-do list.

What Does an ESA Include?

  • Two seasonal maintenance visits, one in spring for your air conditioner and one in fall for your furnace
  • Priority scheduling for appointments
  • Discounts on repairs and service
  • No-hassle scheduling. We contact you when your system is due, so you never have to remember

During a visit, our technicians clean coils, check refrigerant levels, inspect components, change your air filter and make sure the system is operating at maximum efficiency. On the heating side, that includes checking electrical wiring, valves and burners, lubricating the blower motor and cleaning out built-up debris.

Why Regular Maintenance Matters

Your air conditioner and furnace are made of mechanical parts that wear out over time. A maintenance agreement protects your system in two ways: it finds issues that are not causing problems yet but soon will, and it keeps everything clean and running smoothly in the meantime.

  • Lower utility bills. Dirty coils and clogged filters reduce airflow and tax your system. A maintained system runs more efficiently.
  • Fewer breakdowns. Routine maintenance catches small issues before they become big, expensive problems, often on the hottest or coldest day of the year.
  • Longer equipment life. Well-maintained equipment lasts longer, so you are not replacing it before you have to.
  • Safety. A gas leak or loose electrical connection is a fire hazard, a clogged AC drain line can cause water damage and mold, and furnaces can produce carbon monoxide. An annual inspection gives you peace of mind that your system is operating safely.
  • Comfort. An efficient system holds a steadier temperature with fewer hot and cold spots.

Can I Skip Maintenance This Year?

You could, but you should not. The risk is the same as skipping an oil change: the system may keep running for a while, but it has still been collecting dirt and dust, which lowers efficiency and shortens its life. Just because your furnace or AC worked fine last season does not mean it is in good shape for the next one.

Plans to Fit Your Equipment and Budget

Older equipment needs more upkeep to stay reliable. Newer systems still need annual maintenance to protect their lifespan and warranty. We offer several ESA options for homes and businesses, and you can pay monthly or with a one-time seasonal payment.
